Apologies for not writing for so long, but I was caught up in various life activities, and now I’ve finally found the time. I’ve never stopped researching family history, and have found new information which I will start posting again soon.

In summary this website is about researching four families (mine) who all lived in Railway Estate and South Townsville: Wilsons, Colemans, Raynors and Smyths (believe the spelling is Smyth not Smith).

I re-read my blog (which is now classed as a WordPress website), and have found some entries need to be updated eg. some dates are missing or are incorrect.

I am now posting under my real name: Kim Coleman, and updated the ‘gravatar?’ image – which is my Great Grandparents Wilson home.

Note: For the sake of the privacy of those living, I don’t post geneological information on those still alive. I only write about the lives of (my) Great Grandparents and their ancestors, though I note that many Grandparents have now left this life and they themselves are Great Grandparents – so bits of information on them might be included here.

Chat further soon – my first step is to update some of the posts that have some errors or missing information, that my later research has since found.
