Smyth emigration – SS Stirlingshire 1882

John & Isabella Smyth (nee Shiels) + four daughters

Arrived in Townsville 7 November 1882 on the Steamship Stirlingshire.

An extract from the Assisted Passengers records (held at Queensland Archives, and can be viewed online) shows the Smiths emigrated via the Stirlingshire in 1882:

November 7. – STIRLINGSHIRE ship, 1261 tons, from Liverpool via Glasgow, with immigrants and a general cargo.  R. Philp, agent.
