What a great job you are doing with this website. I am doing the Raynor family history and would love to share information with you.
I’ll send an email to you separately as I would love to get more info from you. As you would know the main stumbling block is Joseph Raynor. I’ve since visited QLD Archives and have seen his will which is stored there. It showed some interesting information about the house and furniture, but nothing more revealing about Joseph. Also I tried to access his Naturalisation certificate, which is also normally stored in QLD Archives – unfortunately though this certificate is missing, though a line is in the register confirming he did apply for naturalisation. So the mystery (on his real name) continues…
